Sai Dharam Teja’s latest venture “Winner” first week collections reveal a dismal picture. On the first day the film collected Rs.5.50 crores in just the two Telugu states. But the downward slide began right from the second day itself. The high opening collections raised hopes of a very big blockbuster. The buzz went around that those who bought the theatrical rights are going to reap bumper profits.

But they were only disappointed to see the drop from the second day onwards. Over the first weekend the film managed to collect only Rs.11.20 crores. With collections during the first weekend being so bad, the following week days were bound to be worse and indeed there was a sharp drop in collections at the box office.
