Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ is all set for a release this Sankranthi. The movie’s first look was released yesterday and it has come in for a superb response. The teaser is all set for a release on Vijayadasami day.
‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ is the ‘Ekachatradhipathi’ director Krish has tried to showcase with all sincerity and maturity. ‘An unsung story of India’s greatest warrior emperor’ means that Krish is dealing with the saga in a befitting way. The presence of Hema Malini (playing ‘Rajamata’ Gautami) Shriya Saran, Kabir Bedi and the likes means the casting is picture perfect.
The news of Sai Korrapathi and Nithin’s banner recently owning the theatrical release rights of the historical for Ceded (at a cost of Rs. 9 cr.) and Nizam, respectively, goes to show that Balayya’s 100th movie is much-awaited.
